7 U.S.C. § 6522 – Authorization of appropriations

(a) In general There are authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year such sums as may be necessary to carry out this chapter.
(b) National organic program Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in order to carry out activities under the national organic program established under this chapter, there are authorized to be appropriated—
1. (1) $5,000,000 for fiscal year 2008;
2. (2) $6,500,000 for fiscal year 2009;
3. (3) $8,000,000 for fiscal year 2010;
4. (4) $9,500,000 for fiscal year 2011;
5. (5) $11,000,000 for fiscal year 2012; and
6. (6) in addition to those amounts, such additional sums as are necessary for fiscal year 2009 and each fiscal year thereafter.

Pub. L. 110–234 and Pub. L. 110–246 made identical amendments to this section. The amendments by Pub. L. 110–234 were repealed by section 4(a) of Pub. L. 110–246.

2008—Pub. L. 110–246, § 10303, designated existing provisions as subsec. (a), inserted heading, and added subsec. (b).
