Codification Section was formerly classified to section 404e of chapter 15 of this title prior to editorial reclassification and renumbering in chapter 44 of this title.
Prior Provisions A prior section 110 of title I of act July 26, 1947, ch. 343, was classified to section 404g of this title prior to being renumbered section 112 by Pub. L. 105–107, title III, §303(b), , 111 Stat. 2252. Section 404g of this title was subsequently editorially reclassified and renumbered section 3047 of this title.
Amendments 2004—Subsec. (b). Pub. L. 108–458, § 1071(a)(1)(I), substituted “Director of National Intelligence” for “Director of Central Intelligence”.
Subsec. (c). Pub. L. 108–458, § 1071(a)(1)(J), substituted “Director of National Intelligence” for “Director of Central Intelligence”.
