The Inspector General Act of 1978, referred to in subsec. (a), is Pub. L. 95–452, , 92 Stat. 1101, which is set out in the Appendix to Title 5, Government Organization and Employees.
2014—Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 113–291 amended subsec. (a) generally. Prior to amendment, subsec. (a) read as follows: “Not later than , the Board shall enter into an agreement with an agency of the Federal Government to procure the services of the Inspector General of such agency for the Board, in accordance with the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.). Such Inspector General shall have expertise relating to the mission of the Board.”
