25 U.S.C. § 670
Section, Pub. L. 92–312, § 3, , 86 Stat. 216, which authorized encumbrance by mortgage or deed of trust of lands sold pursuant to section 668 of this title and directed that the United States be a party to any foreclosure or sale proceedings, was omitted from the Code as being of special and not general application.
