If the MVCPA determines that an insurer failed to pay or intentionally underpaid the fee required by Transportation Code, §1006.153, the MVCPA shall notify the Texas Department of Insurance, and the Texas Department of Insurance may for that reason revoke the insurer's certificate of authority.
