1. (a) Registration of business locations.

   1. (1) A license applicant who intends to operate as a salvage vehicle dealer at more than one location within a county must:

      1. (A) list each location in the application;
      2. (B) notify the department when acquiring additional locations within that specific county; and
      3. (C) not authorize more than five salvage dealer agents per salvage vehicle dealer license.
   2. (2) A licensed applicant who intends to operate as a salvage vehicle dealer with additional locations in another county will be required to obtain a separate license.
   3. (3) A licensed applicant with additional locations that are operated under a different name will be required to obtain a separate license for each location.
   4. (4) Before moving a place of business or opening an additional place of business, a salvage vehicle dealer must register the new location with the department within 10 days prior to the opening or relocation of the business establishment.
2. (b) Off-site sales. A salvage vehicle dealer or agent is not permitted to sell or offer for sale salvage or non-repairable vehicles or used parts from any location other than a licensed salvage vehicle dealer's business location that has been approved by the department.
