In accordance with Transportation Code, Chapter 623, Subchapter Q, as added by House Bill 474, Acts of the 83rd Legislature, Regular Session, 2013, the commission may authorize Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority to issue permits for the movement of oversize or overweight vehicles carrying cargo on roads designated by Transportation Code, §623.322. This subchapter sets forth the requirements and procedures applicable to the issuance of permits by Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority for the movement of oversize and overweight vehicles.
