In accordance with Texas Civil Statutes, Articles 6701d-18 and 6701d-19b, the department may issue a permit for the operation of an unladen lift equipment motor vehicle when such vehicle cannot comply with one or more of the restrictions set out in Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6701d-11, §3 and §5. The following sections in this subchapter set forth the requirements and procedures applicable to those permits.
