Purpose and Scope

(a) This subchapter implements the Texas Aggregate Quarry and Pit Safety Act, Natural Resources Code, Chapter 133.
(b) This subchapter applies to all active, inactive, or abandoned quarries and pits located in whole or part within the boundaries of Texas.
