1. (a) Purpose. A notice of impending construction informs individuals affected by certain projects that construction will begin.
2. (b) When to send notice. Notice of impending construction is required under Transportation Code, §203.022(c) for a project that involves either the addition of at least one travel lane or construction of a project on a new location.
3. (c) Notice Requirements. Notice of impending construction will be sent to landowners abutting the roadway within the project limits as identified by tax rolls or other reliable land ownership records, and to affected local governments and public officials.
