- (a) Any request for deviations from the procedures in this chapter because of emergency circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis by the department delegate. Emergency circumstances include natural disasters, such as floods, hurricanes, tidal waves, earthquakes, severe storms, landslides, or catastrophic failures from any cause.
- (b) All applicable state and federal emergency environmental permitting and approval processes will be followed.
- (c) The work will be limited to actions that are directly related to public health and safety and that are necessary to minimize loss of public infrastructure.
- (d) The project file must contain copies of all coordination and approvals obtained.
