Eligibility for designation as an ADR Coordinator or appointment as an ITP depends upon the following qualifications being met:
- (1) completion of a minimum of 40 classroom hours of training in dispute resolution techniques in a course conducted by an alternative dispute resolution system or other dispute resolution approved by the board or;
- (2) in appropriate circumstances the board may waive the training required in this section if a person has professional training or experience in dispute resolution processes related to a particular matter.
