1. (a) A Board shall ensure that mandatory individuals, and exempt recipients who voluntarily participate in Choices services, in single-parent families with children under age six are notified of the penalty exception to Choices participation as described in §811.16(d) of this chapter.
2. (b) A mandatory individual, and exempt recipient who voluntarily participates in Choices services, in a single-parent family with children under age six will count as engaged in work if he or she participates for at least an average of twenty hours per week in core activities.
