- (a) Contract administration deals with the administration of goods and services based on federal regulations and state law. The Department may implement additional requirements to meet the particular needs of certain program areas if those requirements do not conflict with the provisions of this chapter. The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) conducts all Department purchases for goods and services on the basis of the best value to the State and the Department, in accordance with HHSC purchasing rules located at 1 TAC Chapter 391 (relating to Purchase of Goods and Services by Health and Human Services Agencies).
- (b) Sections 732.271 - 732.273 of this title (relating to Settlement of Subcontract Claims, Notice to Contractor of Determination, and Submission of Evidence do not apply to Title XIX funds.
