The Texas Department of Human Services operates the Title IV-A Emergency Assistance Program through an interagency agreement with the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (TDPRS). The program is effective January 1, 1994. It was established by, is funded under, and is operated in compliance with the following federal requirements:
