- (a) A child residing in Texas who is the subject of a current adoption assistance agreement signed by another state shall be provided Texas Medicaid coverage.
- (b) A child residing in another state who is the subject of a current adoption assistance agreement signed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services is provided Texas Medicaid coverage only if that state does not provide reciprocal medical assistance to state adoption assistance recipients.
- (c) Regardless of the terms of any adoption assistance agreement signed by another state, a child can only be provided medical assistance benefits that are covered by the Texas Medicaid program.
