The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
- (1) Exposed livestock--Livestock that are part of an exposed or infested herd.
- (2) Exposed or infested herd--Herd of livestock where one or more head have been confirmed to be infested with scabies mites. The exposed status continues until the prescribed course of treatment is completed.
- (3) Infested livestock--Livestock that have been confirmed to be infested with the scabies mite.
- (4) Livestock--Cattle, sheep, or goats.
