4 Tex. Admin. Code § 33.2
All swine infected with or exposed to hog cholera shall be immediately quarantined by the Texas Animal Health Commission. The quarantine will be removed from the premises 21 days after depopulation of the entire herd, and after cleaning and disinfection is completed under supervision of commission personnel. All dead hogs must be disposed of in a manner approved by the commission.
