The purpose of the Texas Agricultural Finance Authority Loan Guaranty Program is to provide financial assistance to eligible agricultural businesses that otherwise would not be provided and that the board of the Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (the Authority) considers to present a reasonable risk and have a sufficient likelihood of repayment. The Authority is mandated to support the expansion, development, and diversification of production, processing, marketing, and exporting of Texas agricultural products. These rules establish standards of eligibility and the application procedures for the loan guaranty program.
