The following words and terms, when used in this undesignated head, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
- (1) Applicant--A farmers market manager or other authorized agent for a specified farmers market association.
- (2) Certified farmers markets--Farmers markets that have been certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture pursuant to this chapter.
- (3) Commissioner--The commissioner of the Texas Department of Agriculture.
- (4) Farmers market--An association operating one or more locations at which a group of two or more farmers offer produce for retail sale.
