If a response is not received from the responsible officials or if a response does not offer remedies addressing all the items of noncompliance or an administrative order, the commission may request that officials appear at a regular or special meeting of the commission to present evidence of corrective action to be taken. Following the officials' presentation, the commission may require the officials to appear before the commission at a future date to report on compliance progress, may issue a remedial order, or may deem that no further action is required.
