A medical ward should be provided and shall be provided with the following features and equipment:
- (1) Furnishings. Each ward shall contain not less than 80 square feet of floor space per bed. A shelf and clothes hook may be provided. Convenient electrical receptacles circuited with ground fault protection shall be provided. Power to receptacles shall be individually controlled outside of the cell;
- (2) Plumbing. Wards shall be provided with floor drains and readily available access to a toilet, lavatory, and shower.
