1. (a) To qualify for an investigative hypnosis proficiency certificate, an applicant must meet all proficiency requirements including:

   1. (1) successful completion of the current basic investigative hypnosis course; and
   2. (2) pass the approved examination for investigative hypnosis proficiency.
2. (b) A certificate is valid for two years.
3. (c) To keep the certificate valid, the holder must successfully complete an update course once every two years.
4. (d) If the certificate becomes invalid, a holder may obtain a new certificate under the application standards in this section.
5. (e) The effective date of this section is October 17, 2013.
