37 Tex. Admin. Code § 159.19 – Continuity of Care and Service Program for Offenders who are Elderly and Offenders with Physical Disabilities or Significant or Terminal Illnesses

(a) The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) adopts the following memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) concerning a continuity of care and service program for offenders who are elderly and offenders with physical disabilities or significant or terminal illnesses.

(b) This MOU is required by the Texas Health and Safety Code §614.014 and §614.015.
(c) Copies of the MOU are filed in the Texas Correctional Office on Offenders with Medical or Mental Impairments, 8712 Shoal Creek Boulevard, Suite 280, Austin, Texas 78757 and may be reviewed during regular business hours.
