Policies Pertaining to the Administration of the Agency

- (a) The policy board has overall managerial responsibility for developing, promulgating, and investigating policies on parole, mandatory supervision, and the overall operation and administration of the agency.
- (b) The chairperson of the board or the chairperson's designee acts as the agency's liaison to the legislature. The policy board shall have final approval over all proposed legislation before being submitted to the legislature.
- (c) The chairperson of the board or the chairperson's designee shall serve as agency spokesperson on all matters pertaining to board policy.
