1. (a) A juvenile justice program or juvenile justice facility may implement a structured on-the-job training program for use in meeting certification and continuing education requirements as described in §344.620 of this chapter.
2. (b) The training program shall utilize the format developed by the Commission or an equivalent format developed by the department to document the provision of on-the-job training.
3. (c) The chief administrative officer, facility administrator or designee shall select staff, based on experience, qualifications and/or education, to provide on-the-job training.
4. (d) A maximum of 40 hours of on-the-job training provided in accordance with this section may be used to meet the certification or continuing education requirement in a given reporting period.
