1. (a) Notification. If this subchapter requires or permits an agency to communicate with the department or the director, the agency must communicate with the department or the director through the DPS Crime Laboratory Service.
2. (b) Information. The director may furnish information and forms relating to this chapter to an agency making a request in any form to the director through the Crime Laboratory Service.
