1. (a) Applications for benefits under the Act not specified above, including claims for refund of deposits, may be granted by the Director without formal hearing if not contested by any party and if the Director is satisfied upon the basis of the application and supporting documents that the applicant is entitled to the action requested.
2. (b) An Employer's request under Section 843.503 of the Government Code that certain employees be granted credited service in TCDRS for service performed as an employee of the immediate predecessor of the Employer may be granted by the Director. The Director may require submission of documents reasonably related to such a request.
