1. (a) Service to be considered for the sole purpose of determining eligibility to receive an annuity as provided by §814.104(c), §814.202(d), or §814.1042, Texas Government Code, must be verified by an authorized official of the entity for which the service is performed.
2. (b) For the purpose of determining eligibility to receive an annuity as provided by §814.1042, Texas Government Code, service to be considered must be performed in the employ of an agency, institution, department, or political subdivision of the State of Texas or other governmental entity created by the laws of the State of Texas.
