- (a) Comportment. Every party, witness, attorney, or other representative shall comport himself in all proceedings, depositions, and hearings with dignity, courtesy, and respect for the board, the examiners, and all other parties and participants. Attorneys and authorized representatives shall observe and practice the ethical behavior prescribed for attorneys by the "Code of Professional Responsibility" and "Canons of Judicial Ethics"; provided, however, that any authorized representative who is not licensed to practice law may not, by these rules, engage in the unauthorized practice of law as set forth in Tex. Gov't Code Chapter 81, Subchapter G (Vernon 1998).
- (b) Compliance. Upon violation of subsection (a) of this section any party, witness, attorney, or other representative may be excluded by the board or examiner from any hearing for such period and upon such conditions as are just, or may be subject to such other just, reasonable, and lawful disciplinary action as the board or examiner may prescribe. Any disciplinary action recommended by the examiner shall be subject to review by the board.
