- (a) A person employed in a Texas public college or university is not eligible for membership if that employment is conditioned upon enrollment as a student and the person has no other eligible employment during the same payroll period. No person may establish or reinstate credit for previously reported student employment.
- (b) A person who accepts employment conditioned upon enrollment as a student does not lose any rights from service established as a member when student enrollment was or is not an issue.
