Voluntary Payments by Electronic Funds Transfer

(a) A person currently making payments to a state agency in a particular category of payment who is not required to electronically transfer payments may do so voluntarily. The person shall:
- (1) contact the state agency to which payments are due to obtain the information set forth in §15.6(b) of this title (relating to Applicability Determination and Notification Procedures); and
- (2) begin transferring payments upon receipt of the information described in §15.8(a) of this title (relating to Payor Information).
- (b) A person previously required to electronically transfer payments to a state agency who no longer meets the payment threshold of the state agency will be considered a voluntary payor. Said person may continue to transfer payments electronically without notification to the state agency that it intends to do so.
- (c) A person shall notify the state agency if the person elects to discontinue its voluntary participation.
