1. (a) An applicant for a permit to place fish, shellfish, or aquatic plants, directly or indirectly, into the public waters of this state shall submit a notarized application to the department on a form supplied by the department.
2. (b) The application must be received by the department at least 30 days before the proposed introduction.
3. (c) A permit issued under this section is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance or until the permitted introduction has been completed, whichever comes first.
