The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

1. (1) District--A soil and water conservation district created under the Agriculture Code of Texas, Chapter 201.
2. (2) Executive Director--The Executive Director of the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board.
3. (3) State Board--The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board created under the Agriculture Code of Texas, Chapter 201.
4. (4) Eligible Voter--A person or a family farm corporation designated corporate officer as defined in §201.003 Agriculture Code of Texas is eligible to vote in a district election.
5. (5) State Office--The State Board headquarters office located at 311 North 5th Street, Temple, Texas.
