1. (a) Module--A grouping of ultraviolet lamps electrically and physically connected to each other.

2. (b) Bank--A grouping of modules that:

   1. (1) can be automatically turned on and off in relation to effluent flow variations;
   2. (2) is electrically or physically connected together or physically adjacent to each other; and
   3. (3) forms a complete unit capable of treating the full channel design width and depth.
