Insurance Carrier's Submission of Medical Bills to the Commission

- (a) Within 15 days after final payment of an original bill from a health care provider, or reimbursement to any person who has paid a health care provider's bill, insurance carriers shall, except for the Statement of Pharmacy Services, Forms TWCC-66a and TWCC-66c, submit a copy of the bill to the commission in Austin.
- (b) Effective January 1, 1993, each insurance carrier shall submit information electronically in the form and format prescribed by the commission.
- (c) The commission shall prescribe the form, format, and content of the required submission using generally available instruction sheets.
