- (a) Purpose and Scope. The purpose of this subchapter is to set forth procedures and requirements for certification of continuing education courses and the requirements for continuing education for insurance agents and adjusters for implementation of the continuing education program as authorized under the Insurance Code, Articles 21.07-1, 21.07-3, 21.07-4, and 21.14.
- (b) Severability. Where any terms or provisions of this subchapter are determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be inconsistent with any statutes of this state or to be unconstitutional, the remaining terms and provisions of this subchapter shall remain in effect.
