The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. Community Health Maintenance Organization (CHMO)--An entity created under the authority of Section 534.101, Health and Safety Code, by one or more community centers as defined by Section 534.001, Health and Safety Code, and authorized by the Texas Department of Insurance to provide a limited health care service plan as defined in Article 20A.02(l), Insurance Code.
