These sections are promulgated to implement Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6252-13d, §4, and the Texas Insurance Code, Article 21.07, §10A. These sections apply to all persons licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance (referred to as department in these rules) subject to the provisions of Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6252-13d, §4, and to insurance agents subject to the provisions of the Texas Insurance Code, Article 21.07, §10A, and insurance companies subject to the provisions of the Texas Insurance Code, Article 1.14A.
