1. (a) A polyculture system shall:

   1. (1) meet all requirements in §241.54 of this title (relating to Land Based Aquaculture);
   2. (2) provide information concerning all sources of and species of all organisms to be cultivated, cultured, and harvested.

2. (b) A polyculture system shall include in its operational plan requirements to:

   1. (1) monitor for human pathogens, animal drugs, and/or other poisonous or deleterious substances that might be associated with polyculture activities; and
   2. (2) subject all harvested molluscan shell stock to relaying or depuration if human pathogens, animal drugs, and/or other poisonous or deleterious substances exist at levels of public health significance.
