1. (a) Used tattoo needles, disposable razors, and other sharps shall be subjected to the methods of treatment and disposal of sharps as described in §1.136 of this title (relating to Approved Methods of Treatment and Disposition) and Title 30, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 330, Subchapter Y.
2. (b) Other studio waste generated during the tattoo process, i.e., cotton balls, cotton tip applicators, tissues, paper towels, gloves, and pigment containers (not to be construed as all-inclusive) shall be disposed of in accordance with §1.136(a)(2) of this title (relating to Approved Methods of Treatment and Disposition) or Title 30, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 330. Copies of these provisions are indexed and filed in the office of the Drugs and Medical Devices Division, Texas Department of Health, 1100 West 49th Street, Austin, Texas 78756, and are available for inspection between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
