When reasonable cause exists to suspect the possibility of infection from any person concerned with the handling of mix, frozen desserts or their ingredients, the department is authorized to require any or all of the following measures:

1. (1) the immediate exclusion of that person from handling mix, frozen desserts or their ingredients;
2. (2) the immediate exclusion of the mix or frozen desserts concerned from distribution and use; and
3. (3) adequate medical and bacteriological examination of the person and his or her associates, and of their body discharges.
