1. (a) Applicants for a temporary license must meet the requirements in §205.208 of the Act.

2. (b) Temporary licenses may be issued to:

   1. (1) an applicant who is qualified for a full license, subject to terms and conditions that require board approval; or
   2. (2) remedy current clinical practice issues set forth in §184.11 of this chapter (relating to Current Clinical Practice).

3. (c) In order to be determined eligible for a temporary license to remedy a current clinical practice issue under §184.11 of this chapter, an applicant must be supervised by a licensed acupuncturist who:

   1. (1) has an unrestricted license in Texas;
   2. (2) has no pending investigation;
   3. (3) is not a relative or family member;
   4. (4) has never had a license revoked, suspended, restricted, or cancelled for cause; and
   5. (5) meets any other eligibility criteria established by the board.

4. (d) Applicants for a temporary license must submit:

   1. (1) a board required application form; and
   2. (2) the required fee of $107.00.

5. (e) Temporary licenses will be terminated upon:

   1. (1) issuance of a full license; or
   2. (2) violation of conditions of a temporary license.
