Issuance of Certification, License, or Trainee Approval

- (a) A certification, license, approval, authorization or registration is issued when all requirements have been met and it is entered into the board's database and a certificate, license, authorization, approval, or registration number has been assigned.
- (b) An applicant is not certified, licensed, approved, authorized, or registered and may not hold out as a certified or licensed appraiser, appraiser trainee, or registered temporary out-of-state appraiser until the certificate, license, approval, authorization, or registration has been issued by the board.
- (c) A license or certification issued by the board is valid for two years from the date of issuance.
- (d) Approval as an appraiser trainee is valid for one year from the date of issuance.
- (e) Registration as a temporary out-of-state appraiser is valid for the period determined by the board, not to exceed six months.
- (f) A certification, license, approval, authorization, or registration is not renewed until the renewal has been issued by the board.
