The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
- (1) Act--Texas Civil Statutes, Article 4512b, Practice of Chiropractic.
- (2) APA--The Government Code, Chapter 2001.
- (3) Board--The Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
- (4) Board member--One of the appointed members of the decision-making body defined in this section as the board.
- (5) Licensee--An individual who has been granted a license to practice chiropractic by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and whose license is active and not under suspension.
- (6) Practitioner--A doctor of chiropractic, who is licensed and authorized to practice under the Act.
