The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

1. (1) Agency--The Texas Real Estate Commission and the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.
2. (2) Board--The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.
3. (3) Chief Financial Officer--The Chief Financial Officer of the Texas Real Estate Commission.
4. (4) Commission--The Texas Real Estate Commission.
5. (5) Comptroller--The Comptroller of Public Accounts.
6. (6) DIR--The Department of Information Resources.
7. (7) Executive Director--The Executive Director of the Texas Real Estate Commission.
8. (8) TAC--The Texas Administrative Code.
9. (9) TFC--The Texas Facilities Commission.
