Any file maintained, including information gathered or received from a third party, by the board concerning an applicant or candidate for the examination shall be available for inspection by that person during normal business hours at the board office in Austin.

1. (1) An applicant or candidate may authorize in writing that the board make this same information available to a designated person or the general public, except for information concerning a disciplinary proceeding against the applicant or candidate to take the examination prior to a public hearing.
2. (2) The name and mailing address of an applicant or candidate is public information and therefore available upon request.
