Any action on the part of an examination candidate while in the process of taking the examination which violates or is suspected of violating the rules governing conduct during the examination is subject to the board initiating proceedings and filing a complaint against the candidate.

1. (1) The board, having conducted a hearing under this title with a candidate who wrote the examination, may reach the following conclusions:

   1. (A) prohibit the candidate from taking the examination for a period not to exceed five years;
   2. (B) void the candidate's examination grades;
   3. (C) issue a public reprimand;
   4. (D) any combination of subparagraphs (A)-(C) of this paragraph; or
   5. (E) close the case without adverse action against the candidate.

2. (2) The candidate may petition the board in writing for a reversal of the board's findings. After notice and hearing the board may:

   1. (A) reinstate the grades of a candidate that were previously voided;
   2. (B) uphold its prior findings;
   3. (C) overturn its prior findings; or
   4. (D) modify its prior findings.
