Granting of Credit by Transfer of Credit

(a) In order for the board to grant credit to a candidate for partial completion of the Uniform CPA Examination given by the licensing authority of another jurisdiction the candidate must have met the following requirements:
- (1) the candidate earned a score of 75 or higher on any section of the examination;
- (2) the candidate was awarded credit by the licensing authority of another jurisdiction for the section(s) taken while a candidate of that board; and
- (3) the credit awarded by the licensing authority of another jurisdiction has not expired.
- (b) If the board accepts transfers of credit, it will also accept transfers of credit for sections passed at subsequent examinations.
- (c) The grades made by the candidate on sections under consideration must be the ones reported to the licensing authority of another jurisdiction by the AICPA through the NASBA.
- (d) Any candidate allowed conditional credit for section(s) passed, must pass the remaining section(s) within the next eighteen (18) months from the date conditional credit was awarded or forfeit credit received for the section.
- (e) Any candidate who has earned the right to partial reexamination and who fails to pass the remaining section(s) of the examination within the applicable time limits shall lose the right to partial reexamination and must take the entire examination upon later application.
