1. (a) The Board may create committees to assist the Board in exercising its powers and duties.
2. (b) The presiding officer of the Board shall appoint the members of the committees. Except as provided by Subsection (c) of this Section, each committee member must be a member of the Board.

3. (c) The presiding officer may appoint only members of the agency staff to the Enforcement Committee whose duties will include following the requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act, the Plumbing License Law and the policies, guidelines and rules established by the Board and:

   1. (1) review and investigate complaints;
   2. (2) conduct informal conferences;
   3. (3) negotiate proposed settlements;
   4. (4) oversee the preparation for contested cases;
   5. (5) pursue cases at the State Office of Administrative Hearings;
   6. (6) oversee the issuance of cease and desist orders, administrative penalties, criminal citations and the filing of injunctions; and
   7. (7) review applicants for examination, registration and licensing who have a criminal conviction history affected by Board Rule §363.2
